Original Premium Aleppo Soap

The production of Aleppo soap begins with the careful selection and blending of high-quality oils. First, olive oil is heated with water and soda. Bay leaf oil is then added to impart the characteristic fragrance and skin-care properties.

During the soapmaking process, the oils and lye are thoroughly blended and stirred to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed. The resulting thick soap mass is then distributed into large basins where it can mature and develop its final consistency.

Once the soap mixture has reached the right consistency, it is poured into molds and left to harden. After it has hardened, the soap is hand-cut into even-sized bars. Each individual soap is carefully sealed by hand to ensure its quality.

The finished soaps are then stored for several months to dry and develop their final texture and color. During this time, the soaps lose a third of their weight and become hard. The outer layer takes on a beige to brown color, while the core of the soap remains green and soft.
